English patient review number 3

I used think that books written on the war would be all about death and misery.However, after reading the bigginig of "The English patient" I have come to the conclusin that my though was just a steryotype. Eventhough some of the flashbacks the English patient has are kind of horrifying, I have to say that its not that bad. I never thought that I would actually enjoy a war book, most of he time they just frighten me, however in this occation I do. I like how the nurse is so patient and caring, I wonder how she manages to find so much ptience within her. I also feel sorry for her because she is all alone, and has missed out on much of her childhood.
